Online Speech-Language Therapy (SLP) for Adults and Teens in BC & Ontario
Do you…
- Get feedback at work that your voice is “monotone” or that colleagues have a difficult time following your train of thought?
- Stutter and feel like it’s holding you back from participating in social interactions or job opportunities?
- Speak English with a non-North American accent and find that others don’t understand your speech and keep asking you to repeat yourself?
- Find that you are straining your voice when speaking, and that your voice often sounds hoarse or rough?
Purposeful Speech provides online speech-language assessment & therapy to adults and teens for:
If any of these sound familiar, and you’re interested in virtual speech-language therapy (SLP) services to address these challenges, I encourage you to check out the Services page for more information, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. I offer online speech-language therapy services throughout British Columbia (BC) and Ontario.
A free 15-min “meet and greet” Zoom session can be booked if you’d like an opportunity to get to know me better and decide if online speech therapy is right for you.

For virtual speech-language therapy, all you need is:
- A quiet space
- A device such as a laptop/desktop
- A headset with a mic, and
- Access to the internet (specifically, use of the Zoom platform)
How Does Online SLP Therapy Work?
I’ve been providing virtual speech-language pathology (SLP) services to clients in BC since 2020, and then expanded to Ontario clients in 2022. For many people, particularly teens and adults, it can be convenient, enjoyable, and just as effective as in-person therapy. Whether you’re located in the heart of Metro Vancouver or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), or out in rural BC or northern Ontario, I can provide online SLP therapy services to meet your needs.
No need to worry about a commute, or cancelling if you’re sick — you can participate in the session from the comfort of your home or office!
I am registered with The College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (#1943) and the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (#8425). If there are any unresolved concerns about a speech-language pathologist’s practice, they may be reported to the respective College.
